The project consists of an approximately 550 bed Freshman Dorm located between Vail Hall, the University Center, Talbird Circle, and Montague Drive on the campus of Samford University. The project scope includes a courtyard area between the two wings of the building, a maintenance area parking area on the east of the building, and a fire lane access to serve both Vail Hall and the new Freshman Dorm. The building courtyard gradually decreases in elevation to the first floor elevation and connects through the building exterior walkthrough to Talbird Circle. The first floor level of the building daylights to Talbird Circle on the south and the Second floor will daylight to the north near Vail Hall.
